For automated moisture measurement of web-shaped products

The VenScan measuring system is particularly suitable for web-shaped and flat materials. It can be flexibly integrated into the production process of such materials, where it continuously measures the water content of the product. There is a gap between the two halves of the measuring head in which a stationary electromagnetic field is generated as a homogeneous measuring field. Microwaves are used for the measurement. The method measures without heating and independent of density in fractions of a second. Another advantage of VenScan is that the device also measures moisture independently of the thickness of the material.
